Iselin Residence, Brooklyn, NY
Iselin Residence: This was an interior design and renovation of an 1890s brownstone in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. The ground and parlor floors were significantly reworked. The ground floor included a new kitchen, and a general opening up of the space including a new stair. The parlor floor was completely reworked. Originally it was closed at the rear and the front. We reversed that, creating a new library space in the front, and opened the rear up to the south. Part of this work included a cabinet for the display of their collection of stones brought back from their various travels. The project included new furniture, and the re-upholstry of their existing furniture. Each act was carefully deliberated with the client. PDF
